BB Radio with CMS cmsWorks

BB Radio with CMS cmsWorks

From now on BB Radios motto "A large variety" doesn`t count only for the radio anymore but also in the internet. This morning the new internet pages from the Potsdam Radio station went online.

Both the technical planing and implementation, as well as the operative project management and concept behind the new pages from the radio station BB Radio thereby come from the company itechWorks. The graphical conception was allocated by Hans Albu Sanmiguel.

The new pages were realised with the Content Management System cmsWorks 4.0 and the Server cmsWorksPlus 4.0, which is primarily specialised in dynamic contents. The fans from the radio station are not only given the opportunity to inform theirselfes about the radio programm, the current music trends or to follow the programm on the internet via livestream but also to enter into a dialog with BB Radio. Votings, raffles, campaigns and even an online-shop based on cmsWorksPlus are only a few examples which BB Radio as customer binding instrument offers from now on to it`s fans.

"Since the performance of our concept for the new page from BB Radio we were aware of the fact that the page isn`t a self purpose" said Jürgen Melchhammer, the management from itechWorks."In fact the page from BB Radio is an extension of the radio station on the internet by supporting it interactivly and multimedia."

Therefore Social-media-sites like facebook and Googles were provided with a +1-Buttonand technically integrated in order to arrange the new page from BB Radio as ideal addition for a young dynamic radio station on the internet.

"Right from the beginning „the web professionals convinced through their competence, kindness and expertise with regard to the interests of BB Radio", explained Kathleen Herber, Head of PR / Internet."For that reason to make our decision was easy: from the beginning itechWorks is a partner with whom we worked together with pleasure. Likewise because their fully developed and flexible range of products exactly suited to our demands and therefore expenditures of time and costs could be minimised for us."
